My Story
Gene Choi is a senior at Irvine high school in Orange County. He will show dedicated support for YFC by helping out and carrying the responsibility of supporting organizing volunteer events and managing partnerships as a president. Moreover, as a co-founder of YFC, he will spare no effort to support the community to be a better place.
He is fluent in Korean as well as English thanks to the opportunity to experience the life in each country as moving back and forth South Korea and the U.S. In 2009, he moved from South Korea to the United States for the first time.. After 8 years, he went back to South Korea to move back to Irvine again with his family in 2021, seeking for new opportunities in both academics and pursuing his future dream, economist who has global perspective and wide vision.
He enjoys participating in fun and engaging teamwork activities.
In his free time, he enjoys working out at the gym, socializing with friends and watching movies in Netflix.
