Her Story
Amber Choi is a senior at Irvine High School in Orange County. She likes to socialize with her friends and family. She enjoys not only socializing with people but also playing with animals. She has especially wanted a pet dog since she was very little. Her birthday wish is always having a Golden Retriever friend. With her affection on pets, she dreams to be a vet friendly to animals.
She is good at sports such as swimming, running, tennis and more. Especially she loves playing tennis so began preparing to be the Irvine High School tennis team player several months ago, taking after school classes and joining tennis summer camp.
She moved to the U.S from Korea when she was 4 years old. she moved back to Korea when she was 11 years old. It has been a year since she came back to the U.S. again. Thanks to her go-back-and-forth moving history, she is fluent in both Korean and English. Most of all, global perspective and mind could grow in her mind.
As a YFC president, she is dedicated to the growth of the community by organizing fundraising event, collecting items for donations, contacting YFC partners, and managing YFC seminars as well as meetings.
