His Story
Michael is a high school Senior from Orange County, California. He is passionate about music, science, coding, and entrepreneurship. He is dedicated to helping others and gaining new experiences.
Michael has volunteered in a nursing home and boarding care, where he assists the employees in taking care of the elderly. He has also participated in Youth Action Team which donates to charity and participates and organizes many community events. He has also been awarded Honor Student for the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth and has participated in an internship for the Tustin Public School Foundation.
During his time at Legacy Magnet Academy, he founded and currently runs the coding club and the Virtual Reality club and has been elected Business Virtual Enterprise Junior Ventures CEO for two years. He is passionate about music and has played several instruments including the violin, piano, and percussion. He is also proficient in using several software programs such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Premium Brush, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
As the previous Tech Commissioner, he is capable of using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and Arduino. He is fluent in speaking English, Korean, and Mandarin and has won as Gold Medalist at a Chess Regional Competition. He is certified in CPR and currently participates in KAC Model United Nations and has won the Honorable Delegate award during Yale Model United Nations Conference in 2022, and Best Delegates at KAC Model United Nations Conference in 2023. Also, Michael is a iDrone Camp Finalist in 2023.
In his spare time, he enjoys camping, fishing, playing video games, and playing with his rabbits at home.
He is a U.S. Congressional Award Silver Medalist.
